SHOCKING! Amrita Pandey DIES By Suicide; Bhojpuri Actress Shares Cryptic Note Hours Before Death, Says, ‘Humne Naov Dubakar Uska Safar Aasaan Kar Diya’
Amrita Pandey decided to stay back with her relatives in Bihar, after attending a wedding where she committed suicide
Bhojpuri actress Amrita Pandey has left for her heavenly abode. She was found dead on Saturday, in her apartment in Bihar, Bhagalpur. Reportedly, she hung herself from the ceiling fan of her residence with her saree. Her untimely demise has left her fans in shock. According to the report by the Free Press Journal, no suicide note was found in her apartment. However, the initial investigation has revealed that she shared a cryptic and heartwrenching note on social media hours before her death.
Amrita had taken to her WhatsApp status to post the cryptic note, late on Saturday and hours later was found dead in her apartment in Bihar. Quoting the police, the media publication stated that her status read, “Kyun do naov par sawaar thi uski zindagi, humne naov dubakar uska safar aasaan kar diya…”
It is to be noted that Pandey resided in Mumbai along with her husband. She had visited her relatives for a wedding in Bhagalpur where she decided to stay back for a few days. It was during that time that she posted the cryptic note and decided to take her life. While the actress’ family and her husband are yet to issue an official statement, the report adds that as per her close acquaintances, Amrita was battling depression and other mental health issues. She was even seeking treatment for the same.
A detailed investigation has been ordered in the case of her untimely demise. The police officials suspect that depression was her cause of suicide. According to the Free Press Journal, City SP Shri Raj stated that a high-profile investigation has been ordered and a special team has been formed on the directions of SP Anand Kumar.
On the work front, Amrita Pandey was last seen in the film Deewanapan, starring Bhojpuri superstar Khesari Lal Yadav.
